As we near the Christmas Holiday we take stock here in the Kitchen, of the meals we have prepared for festive celebration.  Wait…Stock!  We forgot the Stock!

With you turkey leftovers, which hopefully you have chilled or frozen for later use, you can make a wonderful soup to match with a host of sandwiches.  By doing so you will create some diverse dinners for the next couple of days (or weeks if you freeze some of the soup), that you can enjoy without much work during the hurried time of the holidays.

We matched our soup with an Italian inspired grilled cheese (also deemed suitable by Mrs. Chicken Thief to be served with a hearty tomato soup if in the pantry).  Give both recipes a whirl and enjoy a warm bowl of soup today to warm your hearts.  Check out our comfort food section!
